This webinar was a collaboration between the Heartland National TB Center and the Curry International TB Center. This training was created for healthcare professionals, tuberculosis survivors and supporters who provide care for the tuberculosis community. This training focused on how the historical (and ongoing) experience of anti-black racism impacts African Americans' access to care and the quality of care they receive. We shared specific strategies for clinicians and programs to consider so that TB care for African American patients can be improved, leading to better health outcomes.
