~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Description: The Bridges to Build series originated on a call to action to focus on cultural and structural humility, as well as meeting patients where they are. The past three iterations have focused on TB in African American patients, TB in Binational patients, and TB in the Asian and Asian American communities. This training focuses on the Pacific Island (PI) community’s experience within the continental United States, access to care, and the quality of care they receive. We will share specific strategies for clinicians and programs to consider so that TB care for PI patients can be improved, leading to better health outcomes.
