The Curry International Tuberculosis Center is designated as a Tuberculosis Center of Excellence (TB COE) for Training, Education, and Medical Consultation via a funded cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Our TB COE serves the Western Region which consists of seventeen jurisdictions: Alaska, Arizona, California (including Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco), Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the U.S. Pacific Island Territories. The Center welcomes inquiries from our Western Region partners regarding training, educational products, technical assistance, and medical consultation.
Our TB COE Advisory Committee of TB Controllers and Education and Training Focal Points helps CITC to identify and address TB training and education needs in the Western Region. The National Association of TB Controllers (NTCA) also maintains a current list of all Controllers in the U.S.
